On Saturday, March 11, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with the head of the US Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley. This is the second conversation of the generals this week. The previous one took place on Wednesday, March 8.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on his Telegram channel.
“We discussed a number of topics that are important for us. He dwelled in detail on the issue of Ukraine’s defense needs. We are talking about the supply of ammunition and equipment. He pointed out the need to strengthen the capabilities of the air defense system.
I told General Milli about the situation on the battlefield. We agreed to continue the dialogue and joint work,” the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conveyed the essence of the conversation.
Recall, on March 8, the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, announced a telephone conversation with US Presidential Adviser on National Security Affairs Jake Sullivan and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley, which he held together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. The parties discussed the operational situation at the front and possible enemy actions.
